The food was hearty and delicious, and the view of the rolling hills from our family room was amazing. The warm, inviting atmosphere.
In my wife's opinion, a designated play area would be ideal for kids.

The staff were friendly and always ready to help, assisting with luggage up to my room on the top floor. The building is rich in character with exposed wooden beams and twisty corridors. Dinner was a highlight, with a superb meal portion too large to finish, and breakfast offered a wide variety. The only drawback was the steep stairs that might be challenging for those with mobility issues.

The room was really comfy, with a king-size bed, made for a cozy night. The views of the green and mountains were fine right outside the window. I liked that you could control the heating to keep it warm and snug. Everything felt clean and worked as it should, always a plus! Some low beams and creaky floors gave it a charming old vibe too.
