We had a fabulous time exploring the stunning Swale paths, perfect for the kids. The food was hearty and delicious, and the view of the rolling hills from our family room was breathtaking. The warm, inviting atmosphere made it a great retreat for all of us.
In my wife's opinion, a designated play area would be ideal for kids.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, assisting with luggage up to my room on the top floor. The building is rich in character with exposed wooden beams and twisty corridors, making it feel unique. Dinner was a highlight, with a superb meal portion too large to finish, and breakfast offered a wide variety. The only drawback was the steep stairs that might be challenging for those with mobility issues.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
Enjoyed our 2-night stay in a historical family room. The creaky charm added character, though tall guests should be cautious of low shower ceilings. Breakfast options were limited for gluten-free diets—consider bringing your favorite snacks. The warmth of staff and unique local dishes make it worthwhile!

I enjoyed my stay with a lovely twin room overlooking the green, and the soak in the bath after a long hike was just perfect. The hotel has a cozy garden area and live music that really added to the atmosphere. The only minor downside was the room felt a bit chilly at night, so maybe bring an extra blanket! 🌿
